Luke A. Johnson is a partner with De Jager Volkenant & Company. Luke acts for charities, non‐profit organizations, businesses and individuals in the areas of charity law, corporate/commercial law, civil litigation and estates. His legal practice covers a broad range of services, including charity governance, charity compliance audits, estate planning, and business transactions. In his charity work, Luke represents organizations across the voluntary sector including churches, private foundations, housing providers, schools and international development agencies. Luke was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2008 and has been with De Jager Volkenant for more than nine years. He completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia.
Before turning to law, Luke graduated from Trinity Western University with a degree in Communications and English Literature, worked for several charitable organizations, taught English in China and operated a martial arts studio. He lives with his wife and three children in North Delta and enjoys reading, cycling and playing guitar and bass.
