Bennie Graydon


Bennie is a member of Snuneymuxw First Nation through his grandmother and has Sto:lo ancestry through his grandfather, he proudly sits on the Elder’s Advisory for Snuneymuxw. Bennie has worked for the Squamish Nation at Nexw7áýstwaý Training and Trades Centre (Squamish Nation Training & Trades Centre) located in North Vancouver, as the Student Support Specialist for the past 6 years, and has recently taken over as the Employment and Relations Specialist.

Originally from Chilliwack, Bennie has lived in Vancouver since the early 60’s, growing up with a single mom and 6 siblings, life was awesome but challenging. Before working with the Squamish Nation, Bennie spent 35 years in the restaurant business after he’d graduated from BCIT with a Hotel, Restaurant Management degree in 1979.
