Luke Johnson

Luke Johnson is a lawyer and partner at De Jager Volkenant in Surrey, BC. He acts for charities, non‐profit organizations, businesses and individuals in the areas of charity law, corporate/commercial law, civil litigation and estates. His legal practice covers a broad range of services, including charity governance and organization, charity compliance audits, corporate reorganizations, and business transactions. Luke represents organizations across the voluntary sector including churches, private foundations, housing providers, schools and international development agencies. Luke has represented clients in Federal Court, BC Supreme Court and Provincial Court, as well as various administrative tribunals such as Employment Standards, Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal and the Residential Tenancy Branch. Luke was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2008 and has been with De Jager Volkenant for more than 11 years. He completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia, where he volunteered for several years with the student legal advice program.
